The next generation Back-UPS Pro powers and protects computer systems and their peripherals from power related events. Additionally, the Back-UPS Pro offers new power-saving features designed to reduce wasted electricity. These features include power-saving outlets which will shut power off to computer peripherals like printers, scanners, and speakers when the equipment plugged into the master outlet is turned off or in sleep mode. The unit now also has "Smart AVR" which conserves electricity because it bypasses the AVR transformer when line conditions are good. Additionally, an LCD is now available which displays the current UPS status and line conditions.
